For any succulent-lover living in a home void of south-facing windows, it's hard work keeping any plant alive. Contrabotanic is a collection of felt plants perfect for those without a green thumb. Every plant is sculpted by hand using a technique called needle-felting, resulting in one-of-a-kind pieces.

Contrabotanic plants are available online through Etsy but you can also catch Contrabotanic at local pop-ups & markets in Toronto. For all updates on market dates and behind the scenes photos, follow @contrabotanic on Instagram.

Contrabotanic was established in July 2014 by Amanda Perumal with support from Ontario's Summer Company student business incubator program.
